Early on in his career, he won 3 Grand Slam titles as a junior and became junior doubles world champion in 1999.

 

Member of the Davis Cup team and the winner of 4 titles, Nicolas is one of the world’s best doubles specialists having been ranked #1 in 2016 and having won 20 doubles titles including two Grand Slam.
